An forthcoming Gujarati film called “Kutch Express” will include seasoned actor Ratna Pathak Shah, the producers said on Friday.
The legendary actors will play the leading roles in Gujarati cinema for the first time in Viral Shah’s film. Manasi Parekh, Darsheel Safary, and Dharmendra Gohil play important roles in it as well.
Shah claimed that “Kutch Express” had the script she had been looking for in a Gujarati movie for a very long time.
“I’ve been eager to work on a Gujarati movie for a while, but I couldn’t find something particularly compelling. Then came this picture with a strong script, an excellent cast, and Kutch as the location, which made it hard to resist, the actor stated in a statement.
Additionally, it was a film with a message that wasn’t sentimental or retrograde. An odd chance,” she continued.
Shah’s notable roles include those in the television series Sarabhai VS Sarabhai, the films Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, Golmaal 3, the family drama Kapooor & Sons, and the television series Khoobsurat. She last made a cameo in the Ranveer Singh-starring film “Jayeshbhai Jordaar.”
The movie “Kutch Express” is slated for a January 6, 2023 theatrical debut.
