The makers of the horror comedy “Bhediya” said on Monday that the film’s first weekend of release saw a worldwide box office gross of roughly Rs 44 crore.
The Varun Dhawan-starring movie debuted to mostly favourable reviews and made Rs 12.06 crore on Friday. On day two, it brought in Rs 14.60 crore, and on day three, it brought in Rs 17 crore, which was its highest total.
The horror comedy helmed by Amar Kaushik’s production company, Maddock Films, reported that “Bhediya’s” opening weekend box office total (global gross) was Rs 43.67 crore.

The movie, which also stars Paalin Kabak, Kriti Sanon, Deepak Dobriyal, and Abhishek Banerjee, is produced by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
