Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar said on Tuesday that filming for his Marathi movie “Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat” had started.
In the Mahesh Manjrekar-directed historical drama, Kumar will play Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
In order to announce the commencement of the movie’s production, Kumar posted on Instagram.
I’m excited to be able to play Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the Marathi movie “Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Sat,” which I’m starting to shoot today.
I’ll do my best by drawing motivation from his example and Mother Jijau’s blessing! Keep blessing us, he wrote in the post’s description.
Jay Dudhane, Utkarsha Shinde, Vishal Nikam, Virat Madke, Hardik Joshi, Satya, Akshay, Nawab Khan, and Praveen Tarde are other members of the cast.
Vaseem Qureshi will produce “Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat,” which will be released in theatres on Diwali 2023 in Marathi, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
