Sundar C, an actor and director, will star in Thalainagaram 2, which we had previously reported will be directed by VZ Dhorai. The film’s poster and the teaser release schedule were both made public by the creators on Sunday.
The poster features Sundar C clad in checked shirt and lungi, with a weapon in his hand. As he appears to have bloodshed on his face, there are a group of men behind him, as they walk fearlessly. The tagline ‘Right is back’ is written in the centre. The teaser of Thalainagaram 2 will be released on Wednesday evening.
The technical crew of Thalainagaram includes E Krishnasamy as the cinematographer, while Sudharsan is the editor. Ghibram will be composing the music. The film will be backed by Dhorai along with SM Prabakaran. The makers are yet to announce the other cast members.
Thalai Nagaram is a 2006 action crime film, which was written and directed by Suraj. The film starred Sundar C, Jyothimayi, Vadivelu, Prakash Raj, among others and was met with commercial success. It is yet to be revealed if the sequel will have any connection with the 2006 film or feature a different premise.
