A father and son go out on a journey to look for their missing dog in the woods in the movie Dog Gone. They attempt to do this in an effort to locate one another on their journey and avert serious repercussions.

The Marshall family must work through their differences and challenging relationships while trekking the Appalachian Trail in order to find Gonker. In January 2023, the movie is expected to be available on Netflix. Dog Gone’s story is based on an actual occurrence. As individuals from many backgrounds joined the hunt for the critically injured dog, this heartwarming tale made headlines across the world. Without his monthly prescription, the dog would only have a few days to live, which was a serious issue.

Rob Lowe and Johnny Berchtold are the main actors in this Stephen Herek-directed movie. Herek has previously contributed to movies including The Mighty Ducks, 101 Dalmatians, and Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. Nick Santora, an Emmy nominee, authored the script for this movie. The Sopranos, Prison Break, Scorpion, Most Dangerous Game, and other well-known works by Santora are just a few. In addition, Pauls Toutonghi describes the tale of Gonker and his family in a book titled Dog Gone: A Lost Pet’s Extraordinary Journey and the Family Who Brought Him Home.
