Ol Parker, the director, hinted to the possibility of a future Mamma Mia musical movie. Mamma Mia!, the first movie directed by Phyllida Llyod, debuted in 2008. Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again was the sequel that was later directed by Ol Parker in 2018.
In an interview with Screen Rant, Parker reportedly disclosed that director Judy Craymer was considering producing a trilogy of movies, according to THR. Judy Craymer, the brilliant producer of the musical and the previous two movies, always intended for it to be a trilogy, according to Parker. I can only say that.
