Sparks are seen flying between fire and ice in a new shot from Elemental, the most recent animated film from Pixar Animation Studio. On June 16 of the following year, the forthcoming Disney-Pixar movie is expected to open in theatres just in time for Father’s Day weekend.
An exclusive trailer for the movie was published in an Entertainment Weekly piece on 23 movies to look forward to in the next year. Wade (Mamoudou Athie) and Ember (Leah Lewis) may be seen looking at each other in the recently published photo with astonished or nearly horrified faces. Elemental follows this unusual couple made out of fire and water as they navigate a bustling metropolis populated by four different sorts of people who are all personifications of various elements.
It was revealed that the highly anticipated movie would have a relationship between its two major characters during the Disney Pixar presentation at D23 this year. Later, Pixar unveiled the movie’s initial teaser trailer, which provided viewers a glimpse into the world that was just a short train trip away. The little animation depicts a variety of Element City residents interacting, with earth clumps growing flowers when they meet water drops and gusts of air making space for others by sitting on the ceiling.
