Former US president Barack Obama has published a list of movies that he enjoyed in 2022 as part of his yearly tradition of laying out his favourite movies of the year. The list of 17 movies includes Top Gun: Maverick, starring Tom Cruise, and The Woman King, starring Viola Davis.
“Here are some of my favourite films that I saw this year. What did I overlook?” Obama tweeted his list and shared it. The Fabelmans, The Woman King, Aftersun, Emily The Criminal, Petite Maman, Descendant (produced by Obama’s Higher Ground), Till, Everything Everywhere All At Once, Top Gun: Maverick, The Good Boss, Wheel Of Fortune And Fantasy, A Hero, Hit The Road, Tar, and After Yang were included.
It should be noted that despite popular movies like Avatar: Way of Water, RRR, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, social media users recommended these films in the comments part of his article.
Obama also published a list of his favourite books and musical artists from 2022 in addition to the movies.
