Love Today is reportedly having a Hindi version, with Varun Dhawan playing the lead role. The movie was reportedly produced by Boney and directed by Varun’s renowned father, David Dhawan.
Boney tweeted on Monday to refute the claims “Please take note that I DO NOT have the rights to reproduce Love Today. Such allegations are entirely false and unfounded on social media.”
A comedy-drama called Love Today explores the chaos that results when a couple switches cell phones and starts learning painful facts about one another.
The movie, which also starred Ivana, Sathyaraj, and Radikaa and was directed by Pradeep Ranganathan, was also dubbed and released in Telugu. On December 2 of last year, Netflix hosted its digital debut.
The next films by Boney Kapoor are Thunivu and Maidaan (in Hindi) (Tamil).
