Uncoupled, starring Neil Patrick, was cancelled by Netflix after its first season. After being unexpectedly dumped by his longtime girlfriend, Neil Patrick Harris, a newly single Manhattanite, had to navigate the dating market for the first time in 17 years in the comic series.
Netflix reportedly decided against renewing Uncoupled for season two as it failed to register in the streaming service’s Top 10 rankings. The series also starred Marcia Gay Harden, Tuc Watkins, Tisha Campbell, Brooks Ashmanskas, and Emerson Brooks.
Along with Lilly Burns, Starr, Richman, and Harris, all acted as executive producers. The producers of Uncoupled are speculatively already looking for another home for the series. Late last year, rumours circulated that MTV Entertainment Studios were looking to move the series from Netflix. However, we still await official confirmation.
