The most recent actor to join Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi cast is Farida Jalal.The veteran actress, who is 73 years old, will play a significant role in the web series, she plays the wife of a Nawab.
Farida Jalal last appeared in the independent film Ittu Si Baat earlier this year. In 2020, she appeared in Jawaani Jaaneman alongside Saif Ali Khan and Alaya F. She will also appear in Pashmeena, which will mark Preity Zinta’s return to filmmaking.
In June 2022, filming for SLB’s Heeramandi began.Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, and Sharmin Segal will all appear in this show’s ensemble cast.The OTT version of the series will be a period drama.
For the Heeramandi shoot, a lavish set has been built in Mumbai’s Film City in typical SLB fashion.There is also a possibility that the show will also feature Huma Qureshi and Madhuri Dixit.However, the cast of the show has not yet been revealed in any official capacity.
