The actor stated to Simi, “I was underweight, and always had a lot of pimples.”John, on the other hand, was the same John who claimed to have told his father that he would “sell his face” one day.When you have those pimples, you lose a lot of self-confidence, as I promised my father I would sell this face one day.I would sometimes wake up in tears and ask God, “Why have you given me a face like this?”In 10th grade, I was also the shortest boy in my class.

The actor, who is famous for his love of fast motorcycles, also said that his family did not have a car when he was growing up.“Everyone used to come to Bombay Scottish School in a car, even though I didn’t have one at the time. It’s the school of the wealthy.I wished to have an extravagant vehicle when I was 18.The actor stated, “I respect money, I don’t splurge it, don’t throw it around” because he used to travel by bus.
John also mentioned how different he was from other male leads and that he had been told he had created his “own niche” in a very competitive industry:I was told that I am the caviar if everyone else is eating dal and chawal here.I’ve found a place for myself.
