The Chennai traffic police issued a punishment to actor Vijay for breaking the law regarding tinted windows after recordings of the celebrity departing and getting back into his car before and after a recent fan meet-up in Panaiyur went viral. On Monday, Vijay greeted his admirers at the Chennai office of the fan group “Vijay Makkal Iyakkam.”
According to reports, the “Varisu” actor was given a Rs 500 fine for driving with black-tinted spectacles on. If the cops will also soon have the tinted glass removed remains to be seen. The usage of tinted glass has been outlawed by the Supreme Court. It specifies that the window of a vehicle must be completely transparent. However, some famous people have been using the tint to protect their privacy, which is still against the law.
On the work front, Vamshi Paidipally’s bilingual Tamil-Telugu film “Varisu,” which is slated to enter theatres for Pongal in 2023, will shortly include Vijay. The movie is rumoured to have a family-centered plot and be a heartfelt family entertainment with a full complement of action, big-budget components, and catchy music. Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Shaam, Telugu actor Srikanth, and Yogi Babu play supporting roles in the movie, which stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Prakash Raj and Sarath Kumar also have significant roles.
