Akshay Kumar unveiled his first look as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj from Marathi movie ‘Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat’ on Tuesday. Eagle eyed netizens were quick to point out a possible goof up in the teaser.
Sharing a screenshot of Akshay Kumar’s towering look from the movie, a Twitter user observed, “Shivaji Maharaj ruled from 1674 to 1680. Thomas Edison invented light bulb in 1880. This is Akshay Kumar playing Shivaji. #AkshayKumar #ShivajiMaharaj.” Several internet users seem to agree with the same and expressed disappointment over Akshay’s casting in the historical drama.
