Late in January 2023, Ali Fazal, an actor, will start the new year with the filming of Metro…In Dino, the sequel to Anurag Basu’s Life in a Metro. The movie is a collection of four interconnected storylines. Along with Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali portrays one of the main characters in the film.
The cast also includes Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
According to a source, “Anurag had been thinking about making the sequel for a while, but he came up with the concept during the first lockdown. He began writing the script at the same time as he started looking for casting. There will be a 4-part movie with some connections between them. In Ludo, Anurag da does a wonderful job of weaving together four distinct storylines and bringing them all together at one time. Metro…In Dino will be prepared differently but with a same flavour.
Life in a Metro: Part One was initially released in 2007. Afghan Dreamers is Ali’s most recent international undertaking. Bill Guttentag, a two-time Academy Award winner, is directing the picture. Ali will also appear in Khufiya and Fukrey 3 by Vishal Bhardwaj.
