Recent days have seen a lot of releases as future films and television shows flaunt their goods at Brazil’s Comic-Con. The most recent to do so is John Wick: Chapter 4, with a new poster online suggesting that Keanu Reeves’ combat-loving hitman’s time is running out.

According to the most recent trailer, the fourth Wick film, which will once again be directed by Chad Stahelski and written by Shay Hatten, will have Keanu Reeves’ character using whatever is there to kill his foes (and this time, he fights someone played by martial arts legend Donnie Yen).

What about a formal synopsis? “John Wick finds a strategy for taking down the High Table. Wick must contend with a new antagonist who has strong global affiliations and powers that convert former allies into enemies before he can earn his release.” Yes, that makes sense.

On March 24, John Wick Chapter 4 will be released in theatres. Veteran franchise actor Lance Riddick, who plays Charon, the concierge at the assassin-themed hotel The Continental, is one character who will make an appearance.

Reddick is also bringing his role to the John Wick spin-off film Ballerina, starring Ana de Armas, along with Reeves and Ian McShane (back as Continental manager Winston).

The new film, which is directed by Len Wiseman, centres on a young woman named de Armas who is out for justice against those responsible for the murder of her family. There isn’t currently a release date for that movie, which just started shooting.
