In Gangs of Wasseypur, Rajkummar portrayed Shamshad Alam for the uninitiated.He got very little screen time compared to the other characters, but it was just as good.The Roohi actor recently talked about how the movie was originally supposed to be with him playing a lead role opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Faisal.

In a video shared by Netflix India, comedian Zakir Khan said, “After watching LSD (Love Se Aur Dhokha), Anurag sir called me and said I am making a film and come and meet me” during an interview.Therefore, when I first met him, all I had was a story—or rather, a story structure.He also narrated Faisal Khan (Nawazuddin) vs. Shamshad Alam (Rajkummar) at the time.I had a small tape recorder and used it to record people when Nawaz and I went to Wasseypur.

Rajkummar Rao added, “I don’t regret doing Gangs Of Wasseypur,” despite the character’s trim.three to four months after the writing was finished.I saw Anurag sir once more, and he informed me that my job had been drastically reduced.But I said, “Sir, no worries.”I responded, “Of course,” when he asked me if I would continue.I have the opportunity to collaborate with you.And I am actually glad I did,” Rajkummar cited.
