The Hindi version of R Chandru’s much anticipated multilingual mass action commercial blockbuster, Kabzaa, starring Upendra, will be released by prominent Bollywood distributor and producer Anand Pandit, who has funded over 100 productions.
“The pre-business fetched before the release of the film is a stride ahead for Kannada cinema,” claims R Chandru. “The Hindi rights have been sold for an incredible price.” Chandru intends to release the movie in early 2023; it is currently in the post-production phase. “The multilingual movie will be distributed in over 9 languages, and I’m now negotiating the release date with distributors from different locations,” says the producer.
In cooperation with Alankar Pandian’s Invenio Films, Kabzaa is produced by Chandru and presented by MTB Nagaraj under the Sri Siddheshwara Enterprises brand.
Kabzaa has an ensemble cast including the likes of Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, Rahul Dev, Anup Revanna, Kabir Duhan Singh, Danish Akhtar Saifi, Pradeep Rawat, Jayaprakash, and Kota Srinivas.
Kabzaa has music by Ravi Basrur, cinematography by AJ Shetty, and editing by Mahesh Reddy.
