The One Piece live-action adaptation’s visual teaser has been made available by Netflix. It shows Iaki Godoy in the title role of Monkey D. Luffy, who is depicted making the Straw Hats’ signature pose.
Based on the manga written by Eiichiro Oda, a Netflix original series called One Piece is planned. With the aid of his formidable crew, the pirate Monkey D. Luffy sets out to collect the enigmatic One Piece treasure in the manga-turned-anime series.
One Piece stars Iñaki Godoy as the rubber-skinned teenager, alongside Emily Rudd (Nami), Mackenyu Arata (Roronoa Zoro), Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp), and Taz Skylar (Sanji).
The cast also includes McKinley Belcher III, Morgan Davies, Aidan Scott, Vincent Regan, Jeff Ward, Craig Fairbrass, Langley Kirkwood, Celeste Loots, Alexander Maniatis, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Chioma Umeala and Steven Ward.
The One Piece live-action adaptation is set to release sometime in 2023, but Netflix is yet to announce the date.
