The sequel to 2018’s Oscar-winning blockbuster finally arrives this June and a new image released reveals that Miles Morales, voiced by Shameik Moore, will be battling an unexpected foe.
The Wrap published a comprehensive article celebrating Sony Pictures Animation’s 20th anniversary and revealed a new image for their upcoming sequel. The image gives an up close and personal view of the inner turmoil within the Spider-verse as revealed in the trailer. Miles Morales can be seen pinned against a wall by Spider-Man 2099 which could be in their Spider-Verse central hub. It looks like this sequel is not just about The Vulture and The Spot as villains, but rather will have Oscar Isaac’s Miguel O’Hara aka Spider-Man 2099 as a central antagonist during the film.
