After receiving heavy criticism for the underwhelming VFX in the first trailer, the team of Adipurush have announced the release date of their upscaled trailer. The new promo will be out on May 9.
The announcement was made by the hero of the film Prabhas on his Twitter handle, along with a poster of him posing with a bow as Raama. Interestingly, the trailer will be released not only in India but across the globe in theatres across 70 countries, including the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, the UK and Europe, Russia, Egypt, and several Asian countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Japan.
Adipurush is written and directed by Om Raut. Though originally a Hindi language film, Adipurush will be released in all major South Indian languages as well on June 16. Kriti Sanon plays Sita, Sunny Singh plays Lakshman and Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh in the film. Adipurush is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series with Om Raut’s home production Retrophiles. While Karthik Palani is the cinematographer, the edits are done by Apurva Motiwale, Sahai and Ashish Mhatre.
