Ahead of the release of The Little Mermaid, the runtime of the film has been revealed to be two hours and 15 minutes.

Halle Bailey stars as the central character and is joined by Jude Akuwudike, Daveed Diggs, Javier Bardem, Jacob Tremblay, Awkwafina, Simone Ashley, Noma Dumezwani, Russell Balogh, and Jessica Alexander, among others.

The Little Mermaid will follow the adventure of the titular character who is the princess of the sea kingdom, and readies herself to make the greatest sacrifice to become a human and meet the prince in the land.

While Halle Bailey stars in the titular character, Jonah Hauer-King portrays the prince whom she meets during a shipwreck. Hauer-King says Prince, while Javier Bardem plays King Triton. The film features Sea witch Ursula, played by Melissa McCarthy.

Rob Marshall helmed The Little Mermaid with a screenplay by Jane Goldman and David Magee. Alan Menken is the composer. Walt Disney Pictures, Marc Platt Productions, Lucamar Productions, and 5000 Broadway Productions are backing the film.

The film will hit the theatres on May 26.
