The horrific murder of a 27-year-old woman has been condemned by actor Swara Bhasker, who hopes that the “monster” receives the harshest punishment. A man was arrested by the Delhi Police for allegedly killing his live-in partner, cutting up her body into 35 pieces, and then disposing of them in various locations around Delhi.

According to the police, the suspect, 28-year-old Mumbai resident Aftab Amin Poonawalla, was arrested on Saturday and placed under police remand for five days.The woman met the accused while working at a Mumbai call center, according to ANI.The accused are accused of cutting her body into 35 pieces, purchasing a refrigerator, and storing them there.Swara is one of the Bollywood celebrities who has always spoken out about the country’s political and current issues.She praised the Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi last month.”Credit where due…Rahul Gandhi has not succumbed to communal rhetoric or sensationalist politics, despite electoral defeats, trolling, personal attacks, and constant criticism about being ineffective,” she had tweeted.An effort like Bharat Jodo is commendable in light of the country’s circumstances.”
