Netflix released the teaser of Pokémon Concierge, the upcoming stop-motion animated series on social media on Monday which is observed as Pokémon Day.
Pokémon Concierge will revolve around concierge Haru who works at the Pokemon Resort and her conversations with the guests. Pokémon Concierge marks Netflix’s first collaborative production with The Pokémon Company.
Minyoung Kim, Vice President of Netflix Content in Asia, said in a statement, “Netflix is looking forward to delighting fans in Japan and around the world with Pokémon Concierge, an entirely new visual and storytelling experience featuring ground-breaking stop-motion animation set in the Pokémon world in close collaboration with The Pokémon Company. We’re also excited to reveal this new series on Pokémon Day and provide fans with even more things to look forward to on this special holiday celebrating the popular franchise.”
Backed by Dwarf Studios which has earlier collaborated with Netflix for animated series My Dad the Bounty Hunter, Trash Truck, a release date is yet to be announced for the upcoming series.
