On November 25, 2022, an aerial battle epic called “Devotion” would arrive in theatres in India. PVR Pictures brings the war drama to India because it offers a distinctive perspective on loyalty and brotherhood throughout conflict.
Devotion, a multi-starrer movie directed by well-known director J.D Dillard, is based on the best-selling novel by Adam Makos. Devotion, starring Jonathan Majors, Glen Powell, Christina Jackson, and Thomas Sadosk, is a real story about two elite US Navy jet pilots who helped reverse the tide in the most gruelling combat of the Korean War: Tom Hudner and Jesse Brown, the first Black aviator in Navy history. They became the most renowned wingmen in the Navy as a result of their brave sacrifices and enduring friendship.
The creators enlisted Oscar-winning cinematographer Erik Messerschmidt, together with aerial coordinator Kevin LaRosa Jr. and aerial DP Michael Fitz Maurice, whose work can now be seen in “Top Gun: Maverick,” to capture the film’s exciting aerial shots.
